“Behold I’m Doing a New Thing”

Hello sweet friends!

If you’ve never met me before, let me introduce myself! My name is Caitlin Watson, the owner of Covenant Makes. I am stoked to be launching this dream I’ve had with Jesus, and I want to use this to glorify Jesus and share my life with you all! If you are wondering about why I started this you can read how I got started in the about page on this website!

Here’s a little bit about myself; First and foremost, I am obsessed and in love with Jesus! I gave my life to Him when I was 16 years old and the Lord set me free from anxiety, sexual immorality, self-hatred, body dismorphia, the orphan spirit, and so much more! Jesus has shown me what it means to be a daughter, to selflessly love others, to forgive, and how to live in servanthood. Jesus has flipped my life upside down and I am forever changed by His radical love, mercy, and grace.

A few other things about me, one, I love and adore my friends and family! I also have lots of hobbies like knitting and crochet (duh), running, thrifting, painting, hiking, reading, and playing guitar. A few things I love is matcha, music, learning about natural way to improve health, and being outdoors! I am a registered nurse, but this last year I have been working part-time as a substitute nurse and teacher for a school district I live near while traveling during the breaks. Most of my traveling this past year has been to Zambia where I have served as a missionary with an organization called Africa Freedom Mission. If you are interested in going on a mission trip I HIGHLY recommend going with this ministry, as they are Holy Spirit led and grounded in the Word of God. It has been one of my greatest priviledges to serve with this ministry!

Scripture: “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19

This scripture has been following me around for about 5 months now and the Lord has continued to speak to me about all the new things He’s bringing into my life and doing in my heart during this season. This business being one of those things, along with diving into a new community at my church and seeing God’s answer years of prayer for my family. This season has been filled with so much joy and intimacy with Jesus, as well as healing and vulnerability. It is such a privilege to walk out life with Jesus, and trust Him with newness and change.

Prayer: Lord, would You speak to Your sons and daughters reading this and would they be FILLED with an outpouring of Your love and purpose for their lives. Holy Spirit, would You give them fresh revelation of Jesus, and would they except Your invitation into oneness with You. I pray they would be captivated by Your love and would tangibly feel Your presence wrapped around them. Thank You for Your Son, thank You for this life, and thank You for communing with Your people. I love you, Abba! In Jesus name, Amen.
